Guilty Pleasure

Reached home at about 6pm from school and have been intermittently playing the piano for about 4 hours plus.

Haven’t studied for the longest time.

Ever since I shifted my piano into my room, it’s always a struggle to go out of the house! Especially for school.

I’m afraid to open the fallboard of the piano before school, lest the tendency to skip all boring lectures.

Seriously… Sigh.

Attended the World Expo @ Shanghai talk earlier. I learnt that it’s the world’s 3rd largest event after Fifa World Cup and the Olympics. :) And it is held once every 5 years.

Me and 2 other friends are thinking of signing up as volunteers to represent Singapore and the minimum commitment is a good 1 month.

But before that, I gotta be intensively (Lol…) saving up $$$ for it. 

That means no (or rather, LESS) buying of unnecessary things (eg. extra food), or going out unnecessarily.

Good excuse to stay home with my beloved. :)

And we gotta pass an interview too on which our communication skills, overall deposition and ability to speak MANDARIN, will be tested, since 90% of the attendees will be from mainland China. :)

It will be a showcase of what Singapore is all about. Our culture and stuff. :)

Similarly, there will be many other countries doing likewise! :)

Will definitely be an eye-opener! :)

This event will be held from March-October 2010. So watch out for it! :)
